Association Updates

LAWN CARE: Veterans Lawn & Landscaping is your lawn care provider for the 2020 season.

SNOW REMOVAL: Veterans Lawn & Landscaping is your snow removal contractor. If you would like snow removal for your drive prices are below. 
2 - 4 inches - normal driveway and walkway = $35.00
4 - 6 inches - normal driveway and walkway = $50.00

LIGHTING: Please make sure your front light posts are on from Dusk to Dawn for the safety of the community.

TRASH BIN REMINDER: All trash bins must be stored in the garage by the end of the day.

THINKING ABOUT IMPROVEMENTS??
EXTERIOR CHANGES: If making any exterior additions or changes to your property it must be approved by the board. Below is an Architectural Change Form to be printed or you may call the management company to have one mailed to you. You will receive a formal reply to your written request within thirty (30) days of receipt of the completed and submitted request form.

Accomplishments & Opportunities
  • Lot 16 was purchased. Please contact Above & Beyond at 260-490-2226 or sandra_abcm@frontier.com if you are interested in purchasing this lot.
  • Installed "NO PARKING" signs by all fire hydrants and mailboxes.
  • Trees in front entrance were pruned for the first time ever and several trees were treated for bagworm. If you are a homeowner please check your shrubbery for bagworms and have it treated. 
  • We are looking to have shrubbery and bushes update in the front entrance in the Spring of 2020. 
  • The Lawncare & Snow Removal Contract is up for renewal. Higher prices may cause dues to increase. 
Clubhouse
  • More clubhouse rentals this year.
  • Entered into a service contract for heating & air conditioning. Purchased new furnace/air conditioning unit.
  • Heather is currently refurbishing chairs for the clubhouse. 
  • Removed birds and birds nests from exterior light fixtures of the clubhouse. 
  • Repaired damage done to front of clubhouse as a result of an accident. 
  • Repaired cracks in parking lot of clubhouse. 
  • Purchased new folding tables for the clubhouse. 
  • Refastened all loose park benches around the neighborhood. 
  • Secured gas leak around the fire pit this past summer. 
  • Clubhouse gable was temporarily fixed this last year. We are looking into getting it replaced. 
  • We will also be removing the exterior in-ground lighting around the clubhouse patio area. 
  • Repainting interior of clubhouse including restrooms. 
Mailboxes & Stands
  • Mailbox replacement is the responsibility of the Homeowner. The board is currently working on determining the type and size of mailbox that all homeowners should purchase. Please watch for an update on here. 
  • Mailbox Stands are the responsibility of the Association. 
Covenants
  • ​New Covenants have been drafted and the board is currently in the process of reviewing them for changes and corrections that may need to be made. The board homes to have these completed by mid-to-end of 2020. Once all changes have been determined, all homeowners will receive a red-lined copy for review and approval. Please make sure that Above & Beyond Community Mgmt. has updated email address and contact information for you.
